Lee & Jamie Caldwell
Admissions Team
Jamie has been involved with Stillwater Academy as Lee’s wife since he founded the program. She has helped where needed from various areas like marketing, to working with students at the ranch, but mostly has supported Lee by staying home raising their 7 children. In 2010 she had the opportunity to join the office staff as office manager and working in admissions and she has loved it. As Stillwater grew, she became the fulltime Admissions Director. Jamie is inspired by the dedicated parents who sacrifice so much to give their students the gift of Stillwater. She is amazed at how the parents show great love and patience with their kids and examine and work on their own lives to help their students be successful. “I love talking to people about Stillwater because it is my passion. I believe that families are the greatest gift we are given here on earth. I love doing my part to strengthen and heal them. I love working with young people. Lee has taught me to see the good in all our students and help them recognize their own strengths.” Lee has been behind the vision, energy, and success of Stillwater Academy from its foundation in 1992. Lee has been working with adolescents and their families in some capacity since he was a college student. His ability to get the best out of the students, staff, and families has helped to make Stillwater great. During his years of running Stillwater he attended school to gain more educational experience. His Bachelor’s degree in accounting served him well as the owner and CEO. He also has a Masters in Psychology from Utah State University and more recently got his School Administration Endorsement from USU. In 2021 Lee and Jamie made the decision to pass the torch of Stillwater Academy to Scott and Mckell Jones, longtime friends and colleagues. Scott has been the Program Director and partner to Lee since 1998. Mckell stepped in as our Insurance Specialist and Office Manager in more recent years. Lee and Jamie are led into a new phase of life as the Stillwater Admissions Team. Together they answer questions and give reassurance and hope to parents in crisis as they walk them through the steps to finding help for their teen. Jamie helps the parents understand the program and decide if it will be the right fit for their child and family. When a parent is ready to place a student at Stillwater Lee does the clinical review with a parent phone call. Lee loves visiting with the parents and hearing each unique story. His 30 years of experience and education help him give parents new insight into their situation. Lee and Jamie’s unique expertise and passion for the program ensures that each student admitted at Stillwater Academy is a good fit. When they are not at Stillwater, Lee and Jamie can be found loving and supporting their many children and grandchildren in their activities. Their favorite thing to do is spend time together on road trips, golfing, hiking or just grocery shopping and cooking.
