Daynna Atack
History and Fine Arts
Daynna was born and raised in Farmington, Utah. She married her best friend in 2016 and together they love to spend their spare time taking their dog on hikes, painting, playing board games, biking, swimming, and snowboarding when there’s snow on the ground! She also has a side business painting portraits.
Prior to Stillwater, Daynna worked at the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux reservation near Minneapolis Minnesota. There, she worked with K-12 youth who were struggling with public school in one way or another. She learned a lot in that position working with struggling youth and realized she particularly enjoyed working with teenagers. Once she moved to Utah in 2019, she found Stillwater Academy and a side job teaching English to foreign adult students.
What Daynna loves most about working at Stillwater is undoubtedly the students. There is something special about each and everyone of them and she loves getting to know their various personalities. She loves to watch their growth and progress and see them become the best versions of themselves. They have motivated and inspired her several times. She is also grateful for the support, collaboration, and the love that Stillwater promotes.
